Frontend / E-commerce Developer Internship

Are you a code-minded student who loves turning beautiful designs into flawless, high-performance digital experiences? At Bloom & Wolf (bloomandwolf.com), a fast-growing lifestyle e-commerce brand, we’re looking for a Frontend / E-commerce Developer Intern.

We want a clean-code enthusiast and problem solver who approaches development from the user’s perspective — someone excited about building a next-generation e-commerce platform that is as beautiful as it is technically sound. With development and marketing fully in-house, there’s no agency layer between your code and the product: real challenges, modern tech stack, and work that actually ships to production.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with our Tech Lead and Brand & Product Manager, you’ll:

- Develop and implement new user-facing features and UI components for our website and checkout flows.
- Translate Figma designs and prototypes into clean, responsive, and semantic code.
- Optimize website performance, loading speeds, and accessibility across all devices.
- Collaborate on A/B testing initiatives and conversion rate optimization (CRO) experiments.
- Integrate and maintain APIs, e-commerce tools, and automation scripts.
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain our codebase standards.

You’ll be using: Styled Components, TypeScript, React, Shopify, GraphQL, Git, and gen AI tools.

What we’re looking for

- Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communication & Multimedia Design (with a development track), or a similar technical program.
- Solid foundational knowledge of modern frontend technologies (JS, CSS, frameworks).
- A keen eye for detail — you care about micro-interactions, smooth animations, and pixel-perfect implementation.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and an interest in e-commerce platforms (like Shopify).
- Proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or propose technical solutions.
