FMHaaglanden provides facility services for government locations across The Hague. At this scale, a well considered interior is about more than appearance. Sustainability, cost, continuity and practical management all play an important role.
When FMHaaglanden launched a European tender for a new floral partner, these requirements came together. The brief was clear: a high quality floral solution that would complement the spaces while meeting the sustainability ambitions and practical requirements of a large public organisation.
From fresh flowers to a lasting solution
Fresh flowers required regular deliveries, replacement and maintenance across multiple locations. Alongside recurring costs, this also meant water consumption, organic waste and ongoing logistics.
FMHaaglanden was looking for a longer lasting approach that could create a consistent look across its locations.

One standard across multiple locations
For seven locations in The Hague, we selected silk floral arrangements from the Bloom & Wolf collection. A consistent floral standard that creates a refined and representative look across a variety of spaces.
The arrangements remain beautiful over time without water or daily care. Scheduled changes introduce something new at set moments, without the continuous replacement cycle associated with fresh flowers.
The result is an approach that combines aesthetics with practical management and predictable costs. One that can also grow easily as new locations are added.

What started with a European tender has grown into an ongoing partnership. Today, seven government locations across The Hague work with the same Bloom & Wolf standard, with the flexibility to add new locations as the organisation continues to grow.
